Boogers, Cookies or Porn

I read recently that the average age for a boy’s first exposure to pornography is seven. Seven! My heart fell. My beautiful grandson just turned seven. I had to do some research; is this seven-year-old threshold for real?

The Moat

There’s a sweet little stream that meanders through our son’s back yard in England. However, with two little boys living there, we call it “The Moat”. Every five-year-old warrior needs a moat to play in, especially if he doesn’t have a real dragon. Surely there are no bad guys able to breach this natural barrier!

Familiarity in the Unfamiliar

Everyone asks me what I’m enjoying most about our visit here in England, and aside from time with my children, I am enjoying exploring the unfamiliar. And I’m finding that I really like it here, and I am very excited about making some of the unfamiliar into the familiar.

Like pubs. The whole idea of a “public house” was unfamiliar to me and try as I might, I can’t think of anything continue here

Lions And Tigers and Bears!

post223pic1_edited-1Yes! It’s finally time to pull the suitcases out of the closet, dust off the passports and head to the airport – we’re going to visit the kids in the UK! I can hardly wait to get this show on the road. I’m excited for the new destination and the sweet reunion that awaits us.
