Citizenship Counts

post99

Brian and I finally arrived in Texas on Sunday. We aren’t citizens of Texas yet, but we’re also not citizens of Illinois. Since I don’t really belong to a state right now, I’ve been thinking about the many facets of citizenship.

We may be stateless today, but we do have citizenship; our citizenship is in heaven. Just as a person becomes a citizen of a state or nation by right of birth, Brian and I became citizens of heaven when we continue reading here

There are lots of reasons why it’s hard to pray, and one reason is simply time – it takes time to pray and I’m busy. Isn’t grabbing a few minutes in the shower, or while I’m running errands sufficient prayer time? Does God really find more here
