It is November and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, along with the challenge to be thankful! But seriously, do we have to be thankful all month?
Do we have to play along with everyone else and update our social media accounts with daily thankfulness? What if we run out of things we’re thankful for before the end of the month? Can’t we just skip November’s “Thanks” and move full speed into December’s Get me more
Should Christians participate in Halloween activities? This is a question that I am asked almost every year and no matter how I answer there are people who disagree with me. If I had to guess, I would say that Christians are split 50/50 on whether Halloween is a wicked and evil day filled with Satanic activity, or that it is an innocent couple of hours for children to collect candy.

Memorial Day is a day to remember and pay honor to military personnel who have died in the service of our country. I’ve only been to one military funeral; I was 9 or 10 years old and the fallen soldier was the son of my mother’s cousin.
