Alternative Facts

blog247pic1We are living in a new day– a day when alternative facts carry the same weight as real facts. Up is down. Down is up. Light is dark. Dark is light. Over is under and under is over and no one seems to worry because what they think is their reality – and no can dispute anything because to do so would mean arguing with one’s own alternative facts.

What? I know, it’s crazy! We keep reading here

Getting to Know Daddy

post242pic1This precious little girl has known her daddy since she was born. In her brief life (less than seven months), she has learned a lot about this man whom she adores.

She has learned that he is trustworthy. He always holds her up when she tries to stand. He carries her wherever he wants her to go. He shows her new and exciting things. He always comes home. She knows she is safe with him.

Brian, my soon-to-be-husband wasn’t as continue reading here

Always Good

post216picWe have been with our grandsons most of the last two weeks and we had to be so careful when the TV was on because we didn’t want them to see, or hear, the news from France, Baton Rouge, or Dallas. We wanted to shield them from the bad things in the world and only give them what is good.

However, the boys’ idea of good and our idea of good wasn’t always the same. Keeping bedtime consistent and eating veggies were our ideas of good for our grandsons. The boys keep reading here
